Why should a safemode be required for me?
Since yesterday (and as has happened in the past), my windows 7 (Home Premium, SP1) freeze at startup after logon (in less than three minutes). After freeze, I can only turn off power, and when restarting Windows I have to start it with Safe Mode (and network).
To discover and isolate the problems, I had tried to disable processes or services those who were starting on winlogon using with autoruns.exe.
I suspected these:
1. AdobeAAMUpdater-1.0
2. Acrobat Assistant 8.0
3. Adobe ARM
4. SunJavaUpdateSched
5. Skitch
6. Jing
7. nvda
, and I had tried to uncheck those, restart windows without Safe Mode, re-check one-by-one, and so on, … after all I found Win will freeze again when Skitch was checked. (But I’m not sure yet.)
(Note that autoruns.exe tells a lie, says that `File not found’ even if file exists on 64bit Windows, because he can’t handle manifest, maybe.)
Does anyone have same issue?
